Offensively, the Stampeders topped the circuit with 519 points. On the other side of the ball, the defense surrendered 443 points. Jeff Garcia led the charge, slinging for 4,573 yards. Vince Danielsen grabbed 91 receptions for 1,174 yards, while Allen Pitts, Travis Moore and Terry Vaughn each provided receiving help, too.

Kelvin Anderson carried the pigskin for a team-high 1,088 yards.

Eddie Davis and William Hampton each picked off 4 opponent throws. DeWayne Patterson blasted opposing passers 8 times.

Wally Buono coached the team. The 1997 Calgary Stampeders lost in the Division Semifinal.
