The Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League ended the 1982 season with a record of 11 wins and 5 losses for 22 points, finishing first in the CFL's West Division. The team compiled a postseason mark of 2-0.

Offensively, the Eskimos led the league with 544 points. The defense proved to be a force, as Edmonton surrendered 323 points, lowest in the league. Warren Moon directed the offense, passing for 5,000 yards. Tom Scott paced pass catchers, snagging 91 passes for 1,518 yards.

Jim Germany ran for a team-best 480 yards, while Kevin Cole also buoyed the ground attack.

Joe Hollimon picked off 9 errant tosses from the opposition. James Parker topped pass rushers with 17.5 quarterback sacks, leading the way for a team which created 61 sacks.

Hugh Campbell coached the team. The 1982 Edmonton Eskimos won the Grey Cup.
