The Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League ended the 1986 season with a record of 10 wins and 8 losses for 20 points, finishing first in the CFL's East Division. The team compiled a postseason mark of 1-1.

Defensively, the Argonauts paced the circuit with just 328 points allowed. Toronto scored 452 points. Condredge Holloway tossed for 2,230 yards, and J.C. Watts took a significant amount of snaps, too. Chris Woods paced the receiving corps, snagging 61 passes for 1,163 yards, while Paul Pearson contributed to the receiving game also.

Craig Ellis carried the ball for a team-best 381 yards.

Carl Brazley and Kerry Parker each seized 6 opponent throws. Rodney Harding topped the defensive unit with 10 quarterback sacks.

Bob O'Billovich coached the team. The 1986 Toronto Argonauts lost in the Division Final.
