The Braves paced the league with 782 runs, sparked by 207 home runs. Atlanta surrendered 683 runs. Hank Aaron walloped 44 home runs for the team, while Felipe Alou, Denis Menke, Rico Carty, Joe Torre, Mack Jones and Eddie Mathews each swatted 20 or more also. Hank Aaron drove in 127 runs. Felipe Alou led all regular hitters by hitting .327. Tony Cloninger and Ken Johnson topped the team with 14 wins each, and Clay Carroll recorded a 2.37 ERA, best among regularly-used pitchers.
