Dale Murphy walloped 37 home runs for Atlanta, while Claudell Washington, Terry Harper and Bob Horner each added 20 or more as well. Dale Murphy drove in 111 runs and topped all regular hitters by hitting .300. Rick Mahler led the team with 17 wins and a team-best 3.48 ERA, best among regularly-used pitchers.

Eddie Haas and Bobby Wine coached the team.
