The Dodgers paced the league with 775 runs, fueled by 153 home runs. Brooklyn surrendered 603 runs. Gil Hodges walloped 32 home runs for the squad, while Andy Pafko, Jackie Robinson, Duke Snider and Roy Campanella each swatted 20 or more as well. Gil Hodges drove in 102 runs. Jackie Robinson topped all regular hitters by hitting .308. Joe Black led the team with 15 wins and a team-best 2.15 ERA, tops among regularly-used pitchers.
