The Reds scored 704 runs and allowed 800 runs. Adam Dunn walloped 32 home runs for Cincinnati, while Brandon Phillips, Jay Bruce, Joey Votto, Edwin Encarnacion and Ken Griffey each swatted 20 or more also. Joey Votto drove in 84 runs and topped all regular batters by hitting .297. Edinson Volquez led the team with 17 wins, and Bronson Arroyo added 15 or more wins also Edinson Volquez registered a 3.21 earned run average, tops among regularly-used pitchers.
