Shane Victorino paced batters with significant playing time with a .292 average. Joe Blanton, J. A. Happ and Jamie Moyer topped the squad with 12 wins each, and J. A. Happ recorded a 2.93 ERA, best among regularly-used pitchers.

Charlie Manuel coached the team. The 2009 Philadelphia Phillies won the League Championship Series.
