The Nationals scored 873 runs and surrendered 724 runs. Juan Soto and Anthony Rendon each. walloped 34 home runs for Washington, while Victor Robles, Brian Dozier, Kurt Suzuki, Adam Eaton, Trea Turner, Howie Kendrick and Matt Adams each swatted 20 or more also. Anthony Rendon accounted for 126 RBI and topped all qualifying hitters on the roster with a .319 average. Stephen Strasburg led the team with 18 wins, and Max Scherzer recorded a 2.92 ERA, best among regularly-used pitchers.

Dave Martinez coached the team. The 2019 Washington Nationals won the World Series.
