Jimmy Dykes compiled a record of 15466 wins and 16951 losses in his managing career with the Chicago White Sox, Philadelphia Athletics, Baltimore Orioles, Cincinnati Redlegs, Detroit Tigers and Cleveland Indians. He began managing during the 1934 season and last managed during the 1961 campaign. Dykes was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1948.
