Fred Hutchinson compiled a record of 1660 wins and 1654 losses in his managing career with the Detroit Tigers, St. Louis Cardinals, Cincinnati Redlegs and Cincinnati Reds. He began managing during the 1952 season and last managed during the 1964 campaign. Hutchinson was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1962.
