Ray Brown compiled a career batting average of .269 with 33 home runs and 224 RBI in his 465-game career with the Kansas City Monarchs, Indianapolis ABCs, Homestead Grays and Detroit Wolves. He began playing during the 1931 season and last took the field during the 1945 campaign. Brown was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2006.
