Willie Foster compiled a career batting average of .202 with 4 home runs and 53 RBI in his 290-game career with the Memphis Red Sox, Chicago American Giants, Birmingham Black Barons, Kansas City Monarchs, Homestead Grays and Pittsburgh Crawfords. He began playing during the 1923 season and last took the field during the 1937 campaign. Foster was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1996.
