Cristóbal Torriente compiled a career batting average of .340 with 64 home runs and 686 RBI in his 863-game career with the Cuban Stars of Havana, Cuban Stars West, Chicago American Giants, Kansas City Monarchs, Detroit Stars and Louisville Black Caps. He began playing during the 1913 season and last took the field during the 1932 campaign. Torriente was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2006.
