K.C. Jones compiled a record of 552 wins and 306 losses in his coaching career with the Boston Celtics, Capital Bullets, San Diego Conquistadors, Seattle Supersonics and Washington Bullets. He began coaching during the 1972 season and last coached during the 1991 campaign. Jones was elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1989.
