Coaching Career

Zelmo Beaty averaged 17.1 points, 10.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game in his 889-game career with the St. Louis Hawks, Atlanta Hawks, Utah Stars and Los Angeles Lakers. He began playing during the 1962-63 season and last took the court during the 1974-75 campaign. Beaty was elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2016.
