Coaching Career

Zelmo Beaty averaged 17.1 points, 10.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game in his 889-game career with the St. Louis Hawks, Atlanta Hawks, Utah Stars and Los Angeles Lakers. He began playing during the 1962 season and last took the court during the 1974 campaign. Beaty was elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2016.
