The New Jersey Gladiators of the Arena Football League ended the 2001 season with a record of 2 wins and 12 losses, finishing fifth in the Arena League's East Division of the National Conference.
The Gladiators managed just 543 points, worst in the league, and the defense yielded 695. Connell Maynor passed for 2,644 yards. Lawrence Samuels led all receivers, catching 65 balls, while David Saunders contributed 760 receiving yards. CoCo Blalock provided receiving help, too.
Connell Maynor rushed for a team-high 135 yards for New Jersey.
Jeroid Johnson intercepted 7 opponent throws. Otis Moore sacked opposing passers 6 times, leading the way for a team which created 22 sacks.
