The Bills ran up 329 points, and the rigid defensive squad allowed 242. Jim Kelly triggered the aerial attack, throwing for 3,382 yards. Pete Metzelaars hauled in 68 balls, while Andre Reed added 854 receiving yards. Bill Brooks contributed to the receiving game, too.
Thurman Thomas rushed for a team-leading 1,315 yards for Buffalo.
