Thurman Thomas rushed for a team-leading 1,315 yards for Buffalo.

The sticky-fingered defense pounced on 47 turnovers, topping in the league. Nate Odomes picked off 9 opponent throws. Bruce Smith topped the defensive unit with 14 quarterback sacks.
