The Lions labored to change the scoreboard with just 261 points, and the shaky defensive squad conceded 328. Don Moorhead passed for 2,005 yards, and Karl Douglas spent time under center, too. Johnny Musso topped the receiving corps, grabbing 46 passes, while Jim Young added 719 receiving yards. Lynn Hendrickson provided receiving help also.
Johnny Musso carried the ball for a team-leading 1,029 yards for BC.
