2002 BC Lions Results
The BC Lions of the Canadian Football League ended the 2002 season with a record of 10 wins and 8 losses for 20 points, finishing third in the CFL's West Division. The team compiled a postseason mark of 0-1.
BC scored 480 points, while the defense gave up 399. Damon Allen triggered the aerial attack, slinging for 3,987 yards. Geroy Simon topped the receiving corps, grabbing 50 passes, while Ryan Thelwell added 815 receiving yards. Jason Clermont and Alfred Jackson were targeted regularly, too.
Sean Millington carried the ball for a team-leading 740 yards for the Lions.
The sticky-fingered defense led the way with 57 turnovers. Carl Kidd and Tony Walker each intercepted 5 opponent throws. Herman Smith dropped opposing passers 8 times.
