The Eskimos stumbled, scoring only 222 points, and the leaky defensive unit conceded 458, most in the circuit. Bill Tobin ran for a team-best 497 yards for Edmonton, while Jim Thomas, Larry Ferguson and Butch Pressley each additionally aided the ground game.
Bill Redell tossed for 920 yards, and Jon Anabo took a significant amount of snaps as well. Tommy Coffey paced the receiving corps, snagging 81 passes for 1,142 yards.
Mike Kostin and Mike Wicklum each seized 4 opponent throws.
