The Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League ended the 1969 season with a record of 5 wins and 11 losses for 10 points, finishing fourth in the CFL's Western Conference.
The defense proved to be a force, as the Eskimos topped the circuit with just 246 points allowed. Edmonton scored 241 points. Jim Thomas ran for a team-best 849 yards, and Thermus Butler also aided the ground game.
Corey Colehour threw for 1,947 yards. Jim Thomas paced all receivers, snagging 46 passes for 505 yards. Terry Swarn and Al Irwin provided receiving help as well.
The sticky-fingered defense created 57 turnovers. John Wydareny intercepted 11 errant tosses from the opposition.
Neill Armstrong coached the team.
