The Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League ended the 1977 season with a record of 10 wins and 6 losses for 20 points, finishing first in the CFL's Western Conference. The team compiled a postseason mark of 1-1.

Offensively, the Eskimos paced the league with 412 points. Meanwhile, the defense allowed 320 points. Tom Wilkinson tossed for 1,900 yards, and Bruce Lemmerman took a significant amount of snaps also. Jim Germany paced pass catchers, snagging 46 passes, while Stu Lang accumulated 540 receiving yards, while Howard Strickland, George McGowan and Don Warrington each contributed to the receiving game, too.

Jim Germany ran for a team-best 1,004 yards.

The ball-hawking defense pounced on 62 turnovers, topping in the league. Joe Hollimon and Larry Highbaugh each picked off 5 errant tosses from the opposition.

Hugh Campbell coached the team. The 1977 Edmonton Eskimos lost in the Grey Cup.
