Saskatchewan scored 353 points, while the defensive squad allowed 272. Frank Tripucka led the charge, passing for 3,274 yards. Ken Carpenter led pass catchers, hauling in 43 receptions for 784 yards. Harry Lampman was targeted regularly, too.

Ken Carpenter ran for a team-high 727 yards for the Roughriders, and Bobby Marlow also aided the ground game.

Harry Lunn picked off 6 errant tosses from the opposition.

Frank Filchock coached the team. The 1956 Saskatchewan Roughriders lost in the Final.
