The Roughriders scored only 205 points, worst in the league, and the leaky defense allowed 422. Bob Ptacek threw for 1,469 yards, and Don Allard threw the ball, too. Jack Hill hauled in 36 receptions, while Bob Renn contributed 695 receiving yards. Frank Fraser contributed to the receiving game as well.
Ferd Burket ran for a team-high 544 yards for Saskatchewan, while Clair Branch also contributed to the rushing attack.
