The Roughriders scored 330 points, but the porous defense gave up 459, most in the circuit. Ron Lancaster threw for 2,677 yards. Mike Strickland led the receiving corps, hauling in 40 receptions, while Bob Bruer contributed 491 receiving yards. Frank Russell provided receiving help, too.
Mike Strickland ran for a team-high 1,306 yards for Saskatchewan.
Ken McEachern intercepted 4 errant tosses from the opposition.
