Saskatchewan stumbled, scoring only 370 points, while the leaky defense allowed 592. Steve Sarkisian tossed for 2,290 yards, and Reggie Slack took a significant amount of snaps, too. Curtis Mayfield led pass catchers, hauling in 53 receptions for 863 yards. Don Narcisse and Eric Guliford were targeted regularly also.

Mike Saunders ran for a team-high 971 yards for the Roughriders.

Willie Pless and Shannon Garrett each picked off 3 errant tosses from the opposition. Neal Smith sacked opposing passers 9 times, part of an overall team total of 44 sacks.

Cal Murphy coached the team.
