The Blue Bombers racked up 517 points, and the solid defense gave up 299. Dieter Brock led the charge, throwing for 4,796 yards. Eugene Goodlow caught 100 balls for 1,494 yards. Joe Poplawski and Rick House contributed to the receiving game as well.

William Miller rushed for a team-high 684 yards for Winnipeg, while Obie Graves also contributed to the rushing attack.

Reggie Pierson intercepted 7 opponent throws. Tony Norman topped the defensive unit with 12 quarterback sacks.

Ray Jauch coached the team. The 1981 Winnipeg Blue Bombers lost in the Division Semifinal.
