The Blue Bombers scored 412 points, and the defense allowed 402. Dieter Brock passed for 1,892 yards, and Carl Hall spent time under center as well. James Murphy led pass catchers, catching 61 balls for 1,126 yards. Joe Poplawski and Jeff Boyd contributed to the receiving game also.
Willard Reaves rushed for a team-high 898 yards for Winnipeg.
Paul Bennett picked off 4 opponent throws. Tyrone Jones topped the defensive unit with 17.5 quarterback sacks, part of an overall team total of 53 sacks.
