Herschel Walker ran for a team-best 891 yards for Dallas.
The opportunistic defense led the way with 43 turnovers. Everson Walls intercepted 5 errant tosses from the opposition. Too Jones topped the defensive unit with 10 quarterback sacks, leading the way for a team which created 50 sacks.
Tom Landry coached the team.
