On offense, Memphis topped the circuit with 629 points. At the same time, the defensive squad yielded 365 points. J.J. Jennings ran for a team-best 1,524 yards for the Southmen.

John Huarte threw for 2,416 yards. Ed Marshall snagged 60 passes for 1,159 yards. J.J. Jennings was targeted regularly, too.

Dave Thomas picked off 10 errant tosses from the opposition.

John McVay coached the team. The 1974 Memphis Southmen lost in the Semifinal.
