The London Monarchs of the World League of American Football ended the 1997 season with a record of 4 wins and 6 losses, finishing sixth in the WLAF.

The Monarchs scored only 116 points, worst in the league, and the defensive squad surrendered 184. Stan White threw for 676 yards, and Charles Puleri played quarterback also. Toderick Malone hauled in 32 passes, while Terence Davis accumulated 455 receiving yards. Michael Titley provided receiving help as well.

Ed Hobbs ran for a team-best 242 yards for London.

Ryan McCoy and Reggie Holt each snatched 3 errant tosses from the opposition. Malcolm Showell sacked quarterbacks 9 times, helping propel the defense to an overall total of 38 sacks.

Lionel Taylor coached the team.
