The Metropolitans led the league with just 80 goals allowed. Seattle scored 125 goals. Bernie Morris netted 37 goals for the squad, and Frank Foyston tallied 30 or more, too. Bernie Morris contributed 17 assists. Hap Holmes topped the team with 16 wins and a team-best 3.28 goals against average, best among regular goalies.

Pete Muldoon coached the team. The 1916-17 Seattle Metropolitans won the Stanley Cup.
