Pat Burns compiled a record of 501 wins and 353 losses and 151 ties in his coaching career with the Montreal Canadiens, Toronto Maple Leafs, Boston Bruins and New Jersey Devils. He began coaching during the 1988 season and last coached during the 2003 campaign. Burns was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2014.
