Newsy Lalonde compiled a record of 201 wins and 221 losses and 35 ties in his coaching career with the Montreal Canadiens, Saskatoon Crescents, Saskatoon Sheiks, New York Americans and Ottawa Senators. He began coaching during the 1917 season and last coached during the 1934 campaign. Lalonde was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1950.
