The Atlanta Crackers of the Southern Association ended the 1959 season with a record of 56 wins and 96 losses, finishing eighth in the SA.

The Crackers scored 605 runs, worst in the league, and surrendered 813 runs, most in the circuit. Emil Panko paced Atlanta with 18 home runs, and Em Lindbeck walloped 15 or more, too. Em Lindbeck drove in 67 runs and topped all regular batters by hitting .284. Ray Rippelmeyer led the squad with 11 wins and a team-best 3.21 earned run average, tops among regular hurlers.

Jack McMahan, Ray Shearer, Ed Stevens, Bob Hendley, Bob Ross, Guy Morton, Al Federoff, John DeMerit, Claude Raymond, Leo Cristante, Chuck Coles, Corky Valentine, Ray Rippelmeyer, Hawk Taylor, Bob Uecker, Bob Talbot and Em Lindbeck were all players from the 1959 Atlanta Crackers who played in the Majors during their careers.

Hubert Bates and Bob Montag served as manager.
