The Appleton Foxes of the Midwest League ended the 1968 season with a record of 57 wins and 61 losses, finishing sixth in the MWL.

The Foxes scored 531 runs and yielded 546 runs. Curtis Fontenot led Appleton with 16 home runs and accounted for 55 RBI, while leading all qualifying hitters on the roster by hitting .315. Dick Jones topped the squad with 12 wins, and Steve Kokor recorded a 3.52 ERA, best among hurlers with significant time on the mound.

Rich Severson, Ken Hottman, Bart Johnson, Scott Northey, Art Kusnyer, Dan Neumeier and Ken Frailing were all players from the 1968 Appleton Foxes who played in the Majors during their careers.
