The Adirondack Lumberjacks of the Northern League-East ended the 2002 season with a record of 52 wins and 38 losses, finishing first in the league's North Division.

The Lumberjacks scored 455 runs and yielded 436 runs. Lorenzo De La Cruz paced Adirondack with 15 home runs and recorded 75 runs batted in, while leading hitters with significant playing time with a .367 average. Chad Ward topped the squad with 10 wins and a team-best 2.02 ERA, tops among qualifying pitchers.

Rob Ducey played in Major League Baseball during his career, the only member of the Adirondack Lumberjacks to do so.
