The Gold Sox scored 581 runs, worst in the league, and yielded 726 runs. Bob Raudman, Paul Popovich and Kenneth Fruchter led Amarillo with 17 home runs apiece. Ron Campbell drove in 71 runs. Paul Popovich paced all qualifying hitters on the roster by connecting at a .313 clip. Sterling Slaughter topped the squad with 10 wins and a team-best 3 ERA, best among hurlers with significant time on the mound.
