The Anderson Senators of the Western Carolinas League ended the 1970 season with a record of 61 wins and 69 losses, finishing fifth in the WCL.

The Senators plated 687 runs and conceded 737 runs, most in the league. Roy Gibson paced Anderson with 18 home runs, and LaMar Davis walloped 15 or more, too. LaMar Davis drove in 88 runs. James Bottoms led hitters with significant playing time by connecting at a .293 clip. James Southworth topped the squad with 10 wins and a team-best 2.69 earned run average, leading hurlers with significant time on the mound.
