The Travelers scored 545 runs, worst in the league, and allowed 642 runs. Dave Kable paced Arkansas with 17 home runs, and Bob Geren walloped 20 or more as well. Curt Ford recorded 78 runs batted in and topped batters with significant playing time by connecting at a .324 clip. Al Morlock led the squad with 11 wins and a team-best 3.01 ERA, tops among qualifying pitchers.
