The Asheville Tourists of the South Atlantic League ended the 2012 season with a record of 88 wins and 52 losses, finishing first in the league's Southern Division.

The Tourists paced the league with 812 runs, sparked by 127 home runs. Asheville allowed 601 runs. Harold Riggins led the team with 19 home runs, while Will Swanner and Trevor Story walloped 15 or more as well. Harold Riggins accounted for 76 RBI. Taylor Featherston topped all regular batters by connecting at a .299 clip. Ben Alsup paced the squad with 14 wins, and Tyler Anderson registered a 2.47 earned run average, best among hurlers with significant time on the mound.
