The Bakersfield Blaze of the California League ended the 2016 season with a record of 76 wins and 64 losses, finishing second in the league's North Division.

The Blaze scored 755 runs and conceded 648 runs. Joe DeCarlo, Chantz Mack, Tyler Marlette and Kyle Petty paced Bakersfield with 14 home runs apiece. Chantz Mack drove in 89 runs. Gianfranco Wawoe topped all regular batters by connecting at a .288 clip. Eddie Campbell led the squad with 11 wins, while Tyler Pike recorded a 4.03 ERA, tops among regularly-used pitchers.
