The Barons scored 691 runs and yielded 716 runs. Mike Laga walloped 31 home runs for Birmingham, while Howard Johnson, Jeff Kenaga and Glenn Wilson each swatted 15 or more also. Mike Laga recorded 86 runs batted in. Glenn Wilson led all regular batters by connecting at a .306 clip. Mark Dacko topped the squad with 13 wins, and Augie Ruiz recorded a 3.15 ERA, best among regular hurlers.
