The Burlington Bees of the Midwest League ended the 1966 season with a record of 77 wins and 48 losses, finishing third in the MWL.

The Bees scored 593 runs, best in the league. Burlington conceded 458 runs. Pete Koegel led the team with 21 home runs, while Bob Clifton, Jim Clark and Bobby Brooks each walloped 15 or more as well. Bob Clifton drove in 76 runs. Jim Clark topped batters with significant playing time by hitting .300. David Sellars paced the squad with 12 wins, and Mike Skane recorded a 2.15 ERA, best among regular hurlers.
