The Burlington Bees of the Midwest League ended the 2008 season with a record of 73 wins and 65 losses, finishing second in the league's Western Division.

The Bees plated 617 runs and gave up 569 runs. Mike Moustakas paced Burlington with 22 home runs, while David Lough, Jason Taylor and Clint Robinson each walloped 15 or more also. Mike Moustakas accounted for 71 RBI. Adrian Ortiz led all regular batters by hitting .308. Alex Caldera topped the squad with 12 wins and a team-best 2.9 ERA, leading hurlers with significant time on the mound.

Danny Duffy, Mike Moustakas, Clint Robinson, Kelvin Herrera, Juan Abreu, Johnny Giavotella and David Lough were all players from the 2008 Burlington Bees who played in the Majors during their careers.
