The Billings Mustangs of the Pioneer League ended the 2022 season with a record of 52 wins and 39 losses, in the league's North Division.
The Mustangs topped the league with just 496 runs allowed. Billings scored 600 runs. Gabe Wurtz led the team with 20 home runs, while Crews Taylor walloped 15 or more, too. Gabe Wurtz drove in 81 runs. Jalen Garcia paced all qualifying hitters on the roster by connecting at a .315 clip. Foster Pace paced the squad with 8 wins, and Elijah Gill recorded a 3.2 ERA, best among regular hurlers.
Zach Penrod played in Major League Baseball during his career, the only member of the Billings Mustangs to do so.
