The Capital City Bombers of the South Atlantic League ended the 1999 season with a record of 83 wins and 58 losses, finishing first in the league's Central Division.

The Bombers plated 688 runs and allowed 611 runs. Earl Snyder paced Capital City with 28 home runs, while Corey Erickson, Rob Stratton, Brian Cole and Brian Jenkins each walloped 15 or more as well. Earl Snyder drove in 97 runs. Brian Cole led all qualifying hitters on the roster with a .316 average. Andy Cook and Pat Strange topped the squad with 12 wins each, and Pat Strange recorded a 2.63 ERA, leading hurlers with significant time on the mound.
