The Cape Fear Crocs of the South Atlantic League ended the 1999 season with a record of 75 wins and 65 losses, finishing second in the league's North Division.

The Crocs plated 616 runs and surrendered 613 runs. Tom Pittman paced Cape Fear with 22 home runs and drove in 97 runs. Al Benjamin led hitters with significant playing time by hitting .322. Mark Mangum and Ryan Becks topped the squad with 10 wins each, while Mark Mangum recorded a 3.51 ERA, tops among hurlers with significant time on the mound.
