The Columbia Fireflies of the South Atlantic League ended the 2016 season with a record of 67 wins and 73 losses, finishing fifth in the league's South Division.

The Fireflies scored 604 runs and yielded 576 runs. Dash Winningham led Columbia with 12 home runs and accounted for 69 RBI. J. C. Rodriguez paced hitters with significant playing time by connecting at a .237 clip. Joe Shaw, Chase Ingram and P. J. Conlon topped the team with 8 wins each, while Kevin Canelon recorded a 3.65 ERA, tops among hurlers with significant time on the mound.
